Operation Andromeda

.
At a press conference in Rome’s Colosseum, was an exhibition of dozens of artefacts which were among 337 stolen antiquities illegally excavated in Italy and smuggled out of the country but which were repatriated on June 25th. The collection includes Greek urns and vases, pieces of frescoes, bronze statues and marble sculptures produced between the eighth century B.C. and the fourth century A.D. believed to have come from illegal excavations in the regions of Lazio, Puglia, Sardinia and areas in southern Italy (Andrew Davis Italy Repatriates EU15 Million of Antiquities From Switzerland , BloombergBusiness week, July 16th 2010). The items, valued at 15 million euros had been recovered in Switzerland in "Operation Andromeda", a joint operation conducted with Swiss authorities and were retrieved from the stockrooms in Geneva of a Japanese art (identified by Looting Matters as Noryioshi Horiuchi). "He turned over the goods voluntarily after the police provided evidence that they had been looted from Italy".

Here is some tabloid news coverage with theatrical pictures and egregious spelling mistake in the headline: Daily Maul.
