The police began to watch them closely, and then caught the suspects in an ambush. The antiquities that were seized include 25 Greco-Roman coins and 10 statues, including busts of the gods Amon and Osiris and statues of the gods Horus and Anubis. Six Greco-Roman wooden masks of different sizes and colors were also seized. The suspects confessed to the police that they intended to sell the artifacts.
