Lawyer Calls for More Transparency in Market


As a US lawyer working for the international dugup antiquity trade observes:
It's much better to have an open but regulated (not over-regulated) trade that encourages transparency, public appreciation of the past and people to people contacts collecting brings. 
Lead the way America, let's see that open transparent market revealing all those people-to-people contacts which came together to bring a specific object onto the market at a given place and time.  That is indeed much better than objects "surfacing" (from underground) anonymously as they do at present.
