Minister of State for Antiquities Affairs Mohamed Ibrahim said that 680 pieces of artifacts stolen from Mallawi Museum in Minya government have been recovered. The minister said that the Ministry is intensifying efforts in cooperation with the Tourism and Antiquities Police to restore the museum's other 409 looted artifacts. He said that the Ministry is currently taking the necessary steps to renovate the museum to be partially opened for visitors.
