Collectors Have Been Funding ISIS?

Isis has been taking antiquities from archaeological sites to raise funding. But you cannot slaughter people with potsherds, to turn pots and bits of stone to cash, you need somebody to buy them. So who were the buyers, and through their irresponsible buying, do they not share the responsibility for these acts?
