On the "Social Usefulness" of Collecting Dug-Up Artefacts
It seems to me nothing has changed in the intervening three years: PACHI Wednesday, 27 July 2011, 'On the "Social Usefulness" of Collecting Dug-Up Artefacts Plundered from the Foreign Archaeological Record'. All those hundreds of thousands of private collections, containing millions of dugup antiquities - and what do we now have from that which we did not have thee years ago? When will the lobbyists produce that bibliography?
