Bloomsbury Countdown, Why no Fanfare?

The Twitter feed to number of objects left to record until @findsorguk #pasmillionth has not been updated since 3rd September when there were 2000 objects (and many more records) to go. Now somebody has noted an "estimated 22000" on the database, it has shot past that mark, but without a PAS-fanfare. Could it be that this was not what was "supposed to happen"?
