Focus on UK Metal Detecting: "Lenborough Hoard - Good Job"

Brighton metal detectorist Pete Abbott (03/01/2015 at 10:11) has a few words for British archaeologists about the Lenborough hoard:
Wonderful, what a start to the new year, and it was done under the good auspices of the FLO, dug by hand no JCB, here, you lot stick to desecrating graves found on building sites, and leave the important finds to us citizen archiaologists [sic].
"Citizen archaeologists" is a term PAS has taught them. It is a pity PAS seems unable to teach many of them much more than that as we can see here.
