ACCG 'defeated' again: Time to Deal with the Cowboys
In the US, a judge has once again said 'no' to the Ancient Coin Collectors Guild ('Federal Judge Denies ACCG's Motion to Reconsider', Cultural Heritage Lawyer Rick St. Hilaire 5 Feb 2015) in the case of the
Baltimore Illegal Coin Import Stunt [U.S. v. Three Knife-Shaped Coins Et al.]. These guys with their fixation on imagined oppressions are getting really, really tedious. More proof that Robert Jenrick is mistaken in suggesting that most dealers are serious about keeping smuggled and laundered items off the antiquities market. The antiquities market needs to fight the cowboys within.
