The Bundesverband Deutscher Galerien und Kunsthändler complain that the proposed new German Kulturgutschutzgesetz evidence a "schwer nachvollziehbares Misstrauen" against the art and antiquities trades. Too right. The antiquities trade has revealed itself unworthy of any trust.
