Mammoth Metal Detecting Archaeology Scam

Dowsing leylines

I see that once again in the 'Festival of Archaeology', Chelmsford Museum thinks Collection-Driven Exploitation of the Archaeological Record is "archaeology".
Where: East | Essex
When: Sat 29th Jul 10:00am - Sat 29th Jul 4:30pm
Periods: Prehistory, Romans
Day of craft activities, making Roman mosaics and oil lamps, sorting archaeological finds trays, identifying finds, and learning how to metal detect and dowse.
For younger children make a 3D model of a mammoth and see a real tusk up close. Website: www.chelmsford.gov.uk/museums
Is it Museum staff that are going to be 'teaching' artefact hunting and 'dowsking'?
