The Department of Antiquities (DoA) said that a total of 58 antiquities retrieved from Canada arrived in the Kingdom on Saturday. [...] In November, Jordan retrieved the antiquities from Canada, acquired in a foiled smuggling attempt by Canadian authorities at Toronto’s international airport. The Canadian authorities confiscated the antiquities at the Toronto international airport in 2016 and 2017, which included oil lamps, pottery, glass jars and statues, according to Petra.
