The new Executive Director of the Council for British Archaeology is Neil Redfern. The new CBA Executive Director is expected to take up his post on 2 April 2020, succeeding Dr Mike Heyworth MBE who will officially leave his post on 31 March 2020. Full details: here Let us hope that "championing archaeology in the United Kingdom" will do more to differentiate actual archaeology from Collection-driven exploitation of the archaeological record as a form of 'public engagement'.
