According to China Youth Daily on Friday, customs officers at the outbound inspection site noticed an unreported checked baggage while supervising outbound flights. Upon inspection, it was found that the checked baggage contained a total of 672 cultural relics, including glazed bowls, bronze mirrors, and ancient coins, which were not declared to the customs.Probably the remaining 178 objects were modern fakes.
After the report by the Shaanxi Provincial Cultural Relics Appraisal Center, it was determined that 494 items were general cultural relics on China's list of items prohibited from being exhibited abroad. These included glazed bowls, bronze mirrors, bronze smoking pots, ancient coins, and blue and white porcelains from various dynasties such as Han, Tang, Song, Yuan, Ming, and Qing, spanning a wide range of time and categories.
Jesus, how does a so-called archaeologist find the time to publish such shit??? I worked all of my life in the sciences, laboured using methodological naturalism [as opposed to Pau's appeal to the supernatura,]
ReplyDeletelong hours solving problems, and came home exhausted and ready for bed, but this prick seems to have all the time in the world to post a load of bullshit posing as fact, on a much-derided channel and seems to think we should take note of it!!! Paul, my dear chap, there is, about waist-height, a piece of fresh mistletoe hanging from the back of my jacket...
What is your problem with this? Why "so-called"? What has "methodological naturalism" got to do with any of this? Please explain what you mean. Where is there here any "appeal to the supernatural"? Your comment is difficult to reconcile with the text it purports to be engaging with. Are you commenting, or just trolling?
