This photo has just appeared on the facebook page (Save and Restore the Egyptian Museum) annotated "A post-revolution view of an archaeological storage of the Russian mission at Kom Tuman (Memphis). From "Science and life" (" Nauka i zhizn' ") magazine, in Russian, 7 (2011), p. 10".
Readers following the saga of denials of looting in Egypt will remember that reports of damage [to the Museum admittedly] were circulating on Jan 28th, but vehemently denied by the Egyptian authorities. This photo, if it shows what it is purported to (why is there a fireplace here?) would seem to suggest that there were grounds for the rumours.
For Kom Tuman see here (among other places).
