In Egypt, tourism and monuments police have seized 42 Pharaonic and Islamic artefacts from black market dealers in Minya Governorate. They were tipped off by an informant that two men, a 29-year-old and a 62-year-old with a criminal record had the artefacts with the intent of trading them. The police raided a house where the suspects were believed to be staying, one of the suspects was out, but the other was arrested and the artefacts seized. The other suspect is still fugitive.
