I note that it does not say "shared by
virtually every responsible detectorist". That's because it really does seem that in the case of the majority this responsibility is a shallow and declarative facade emplyed without any real understanding of, still less reflection on, what that consists of. Meanwhile the grey detectorist parasites continue to snipe from the sidelines.
