Colonialism Perpetuated: Remote Trampling on Indigenous Rights

The British Museum has put 1.9 million objects online but in doing so has breached Indigenous legal protocols for some objects taken from Indigenous peoples including in Pacific Islands. Openness cannot be at the expense of respecting Indigenous norms.
