Coy heading, shhhhh:
Richard Cornwell, 'Rendlesham: Nighthawks may have raided Saxon treasure at Suffolk’s ‘village of the kings’...' Ipswich Star Tuesday, March 11, 2014Then read the article. What is the matter with Bonkers Britain? Can't even criticise criminals with metal detectors now? The fact that Rendlesham was a royal site has been known for years (sort of 1200 years, Venerable Bede sort of time-span, and the BM's Rupert Bruce Mitford gave a few pointers where to look), but only now has the threat been recognized as due to pilferers with metal detectors out to find collectables.
