PAS number?

.
Considering the almost idolatrous manner in which the ACCG support the Scheme, the Durotriges coin being offered in their Fourth Annual ACCG benefit sale (since they are not found outside Britain) is surely one of the 99 examples recorded in the PAS database. So which one is it? Or have we another case of US dealers selling dugups from the UK which have not been responsibly reported? This case is particularly interesting because of course the PAS database now incorporates the Celtic Coin Index which aimed at a pretty comprehensive coverage of documented items from old collections too. If this is from the 2005 Isle of Wight hoard (which had a lot of these Cranborne Chase types), why do the sellers not say so? So, ACCG which recorded coin find is the object you are flogging off from and why don't you say? How did this object reach the US market?

Photo: The ACCG coin, donated anonymously and from an unstated source, reproduced here before it disappears from the current auction on V-Coins website in the public interest. Maybe the PAS will take an interest, though since they are "friends" with the ACCG, I'm not holding my breath.
