Focus on UK Metal Detecting: Displaying Finds

On a metal detecting forum near you a metal detectorist has given an account of how he displays his finds 'Custom Display Case (Now Complete)' (Thu Oct 31, 2013 8:56 pm ). He's done a nice job of it (note the glass sheet appears to lie over the edges of the tabletop not drops into it, which keeps the spilt coffee and salty peanut bits out). In it he shows the finds: "Mostly found by myself and my 8 year old over the last 2 years with one or two items from my late Dads collection" - note the number and range with reference to the veracity of the Heritage Action Artefact Erosion Counter. BUT.... where are the labels? Where are the labels which tie one fibula//coin/buckle/geegaw in the display to their findspot and catalogue reference? The case's proud owner says nothing about how the objects are related to their empty bags in his collection's archives.

I note a complete armbrustfibel down the bottom in the right hand corner.
