Sussex Police caught an individual nighthawking last August. He was caught on land near Pulborough, Sussex with a metal detector and spade. He has now been sentenced to pay a total of £1,566 in fines and costs. As far as I can see, the man was not named and shamed. Was he a High Court judge? Two other suspects are awaiting trial.
