The UNESCO-listed Historic Centre of Odesa ("Outstanding Universal Value") has yet again become the target of a Russian terrorist missile attack. Two people were injured.
As a result of yesterday's strike, about 15 cultural heritage sites were damaged to varying degrees, Odesa mayor Hennadii Trukhanov said. Buildings that were damaged:
🔹 Bristol Hotel;
🔹 Philharmonic Theatre;
🔹 Vuchini House (19 Italiiska St.);
🔹 Museum of Western and Eastern Art;
🔹 Branch of the Literary Museum (Sikara House);
🔹 Stained glass windows in the buildings of the National Union of Architects of Ukraine and Porto-Franco Bank were damaged.
