In Sunday's New York Times there was an article about sensitivities and disputes surrounding the creation of the National September 11 Memorial Museum in Manhattan (Patricia Cohen, 'At Museum on 9/11, Talking Through an Identity Crisis' NYT 2/6/12). It brings to the fore a number of issues relating to museums more generally.
