Did the egg-throwing students turn up?

I've never seen a coiney lobbyist from above,
but this certainly looks like one we all know getting
egged by angry activists. Is it, or is this a fake photo?

Did the students who were rumoured to be going to express their opinion on the opposition of Mr Tompa and Mr Sayles to the Egypt MOU turn up at Foggy Bottom?

Is that why SAFE reports from the meeting that both, instead of opposing the MOU as expected, supported it? That's a turnup for the books if true.

Though I understand emotions run high when faced with weasel arguments, I would not for a moment applaud such methods, but to have those two on our side just for once would be satisfying.
