Just two days ago they had c. 400 signatures on the Save Sekhemka petition, now it's 873
as the Day of Shame approaches. The campaigners add: "even if you have signed the petition there are several other things you can do".UPDATE 10th July 12:00 AM The number of signatures is now 922, let's make it a thousand before the hammer falls this afternoon.

There were 1055 signatures when the hammer fell, needless to say the Northampton philistine museum strippers had not been swayed from their resolution. There are now 1083 as people continue to show their disapproval of what has happened here.
