Governments "have to give treasure-hunters an incentive"


On the ground it's a mile, in terms of PAS outreach, a huge gulf
"If governments want the loot, they will have to give treasure-hunters an incentive to look for them" says the London-based Economist. Yay, looting the historical heritage for cash, just what every state should be doing? After all, why wait for a conflict to break out? Somehow I think the PAS (offices just down the road from the Economist's) is really failing to get any message at all out to the British public except "come on, here it is, get it!"
