Houghton Did not Come

The sock-puppet on Peter Tompa's metal detecting friendly blog who says he's Arthur Houghton III said he was planning to come to  Warsaw in late September to give "a scholarly talk" on: "Who Owns the Past: Morality, Law and the Public Interest". He never did. He's obviously quite willing to unchivalrously insult strangers at a distance, but apparently unable to put his daddy's money where his mouth is and actually come up with the goods. I suspect he realised that he's not up to addressing Europeans academics, who'd make mincemeat out of his Neocolonialist arguments.
