Paul, my dear fellow, you are no doubt celebrating the death of Yahweh-bar-Joseph, a
said he was a god, was never followed or worshipped as a god, and was crucified, along with at least one hundred a day others, for sedition. I gather from your location that you are also Roman Catholic with strong ties to the church of Rome. My dear chap, are you a young earth creationist or are you in opposition to all you were taught? After all, we cannot have evidence-based scientific conclusions ignoring methodological naturalism, can we?? Or maybe, in your case we can
have a lovely god-free weekend my friend, regards, the Good Doctor.

Poor fellow, life must be not only hard, difficult frustrating, unsatisfying, unfruitful, and annoying but you have the likes of me to contend with. Plus you have the added burden of carrying the celestial version of Kim Yong-um on your shoulders that invisible man in the sky who watches over you as you urinate, defecate, masturbate, and fornicate, then as a solution for giving you all these sensations to enjoy, sends his son down to earth to be tortured and killed to salve his conscience. My dear Paul, you are fu"" ked, both ways, historically and literally, the world has pronounced sentence and you are toast, have a lovely weekend, sorry to be a boil on the ass of mythological progress but such is life.

I think that hardly requires comment. Such are metal detectorists. Somebody, somewhere has this guy as a grandfather, but no doubt loves him nonetheless for all his failings. But for the record I am neither a Roman Catholic nor a Young Earth Creationist. But I admit I have no idea what he means by "ignoring methodological naturalism" in the context of what he wrote.

Basically, doctorate from the University of Liverpool or not, it is undeniable that some old metal detectorists behave like idiots.
