.
With regard something I was discussing on this blog a little while ago, I noticed that there is an interesting small print footnote to the exhibition blurb page of the upcoming RA exhibition "Bronze": List of objects proposed for protection under Part 6 of the Tribunals, Courts and Enforcement Act 2007 (protection of cultural objects on loan). Either its taking a long time to download on my old computer or there is nothing in it yet.
It is worth having a look at this 2007 legislation. See the 'Protection of items on loan from abroad' page of DCMS on Part 6 of the Tribunals Courts and Enforcement Act 2007 (the Fitzwilliam also has quite a clear page on it). Its a bit of a hotch-potch law (what's new?) covering all sorts of stuff.
An example of the sort of publication of information regarding loans concerned can be found here (BM) and another RA one here.
