Further to my comments on the Sayles/Tompa metal detectorist partnership, I am gratified to see that David Gill has come to the same conclusion:
It would seem that the issues raised by the looting of an archaeological site in England can be linked to a wider debate over the damage to archaeological contexts in the Mediterranean region.How, in fact, could it not be?
