IA 33: "Portable Antiquities: archaeology, collecting, metal detecting".


You heard it here first. The announcement of the publication of Issue 33 of Internet Archaeology has just appeared. This volume, edited by Stuart Campbell and Suzie Thomas, was dedicated to the question of "Portable Antiquities: archaeology, collecting, metal detecting". The words "preservation" and "Heritage Action Artefact Erosion Counter" and much else besides of importance are apparently wholly absent.The papers it contains are as follows:
