'Debating' UK's Heritage Problems: Sock Puppet Steve Refuses to Come Out

Vociferous critic of the preservationist stance, Sock Puppet-Steve-Ron-Spartacus refuses to sign his own name under his comments and adds:
I am sure the casual reader of your Blog and the comments written here will be able to make up their own minds as to why i chose to do that.
Yep. It's most probably because by your own admission  you are yet another of those sock puppet trouble makers (like the guy who posed as the lesbian legal secretary " Candice Jarman", those idiots who pester Heritage Action's blog and all the rest), who is just out to raise trouble, take the mickey out of and waste the time of anyone who thinks the way we treat the archaeological heritage needs discussing.

There are many who insist that artefact hunting is some kind of "responsible" use of the archaeological record done by ultra-altruistic folk only "interested in the history". They fail to recognize the results of  this kind of treatment by "PAS-partners" of any attempt to get a public dialogue on heritage policy which time after time suffers the impediment of having to deal with the barrier of disruptive behaviour from people like Sock Puppet-Steve-Ron-Spartacus. In this way, what is happening to the public's archaeological heritage is not actually the subject of proper public debate in the UK. In the place of reasoned , frank and open discussion between alleged "partners", metal detectorists are represented by loud guffawing clowns thumbing their nose at society, encouraged by those who think collectors' rights trump all others.
