Be back Tonight?

This stone has been placed on precisely this post on this particular field almost certainly coincidentally by a dove rather than hawk - right?

The fence in the foreground of the holes photographed in this field (seen here in background) on Saturday [photo copyright/courtesy Heritage Action].

and has anybody been out there today (FLO, maybe) to inspect the damage and document the destruction? Is anyone out there now, crouching in the thicket... waiting? Will a patrol car stop by the site for a moment, even? Are there any archaeologists sitting at home fretting about what the "non-PAS-partners" are taking, now the "PAS-partners" have opened Pandora's box, or are they sitting snugly by the TV feeling it's simply "inevitable" and nothing can be done to change that?
