As Heritage Action have pointed out repeatedly (see now "Crooks delight … ") the Central Searchers commercial artefact hunters' club have a membership rule that basically gives artefact collectors carte blanche to steal from landowners. One would have thought that after the discussion, they'd have modified it, or deleted it, but now if you click on the "Rules" tab here , you will find it has been hidden from public view. Central Searchers don't like "breaches"!

Focus on UK Metal Detecting: Searching for the Missing Rules
