When will UK Government Live up to its Responsibilities? When we Speak out and Make Them, That's When..

Lithoscapes Archaeological Research Foundation ·('Impartial posts on the developments in prehistoric archaeology, lithics and human origins etc from the Lithoscapes Archaeological Research Foundation') posted this comment on the news of the 19 arrests in the UK for heritage theft....
The sooner the UK government lives up to its responsibilities- ie signing up to the UN moratorium on antiquities trading, reforming the whole Treasure [...] system which implies heritage has a fiscal value and also outlawing the sale of National heritage and artefacts- we are going to see these sorts of crimes along with the proliferation of looting of our heritage in the form of flinting and metal detecting.
Sombody out there does not like artefact hunters. Please consider adding your 'like' to this message just to send out a clear signal that there is an issue here which we should be addressing. [yes, I've edited out one word to make the Scottish terminology used fit the UK which is what is being discussed].
