Greek police investigating antiquities smuggling have arrested 35 people, in several locations in the north and centre of the country, and recovered thousands of ancient coins and other artefacts. Reports are coming in that one of the suspects was found with around 4,000 ancient coins in his possession. Other artefacts have also been recovered. Metal detectors were also found during the raids. Police didn't provide further details Saturday, an announcement with details of the operation is expected Sunday or Monday.
