Fragments, Holes, and Wholes: Reconstructing the Ancient World in Theory and Practice Warsaw, Poland, 12th–14th June 2014 An international conference organized by the Committee on Ancient Culture of the Polish Academy of Sciences the Institute of Classical Studies of the University of Warsaw the Institute of Archaeology of the University of Warsaw the Institute of Classical Studies of Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań.Not a single mention of provenance, collecting histories or ethics in the entire programme. I see Dirk Obbink is going to be here - presenting his provenanceless Sappho fragments, but to listen to it will cost 150 €, so I think I'll give it a miss. I do not expect he'd answer any questions about it anyway.
