wikiHow How to Create Your Own Museum

ICOM has declared 18th May International Museum Day, in the spirit of the motto: « Museums are an important means of cultural exchange, enrichment of cultures and development of mutual understanding, co-operation and peace among peoples » . In Warsaw we had our traditional Night of The Museums (when they all stay open all night and Warsovians go on a nocturnal museum-crawl) on Saturday. It was a very rainy night.

A bit of fun: How to Create Your Own Museum "Try to include some old/new artifacts in your exhibits. A good idea for this is to hire a group of archaeologists or paeleontologists to fly around the world and collect these artifacts and information on them". It reminds me a bit of the Artnose text "Encyclopaedic Museum Starter Kit!" ("You too can have a cadre of patronising curators, mile upon mile of storerooms bulging with loot, a cheesy over-priced museum shop, and a withering disdain for pesky nationalist cultural property retentionists!").
