Yesterday, I informed the police about serious threats made against the author of this blog and his family by a British metal detectorist and an attempt to blackmail me into deleting it. I have decided that this blog will remain closed while the initial stages of their investigations are in progress to prevent further malicious activity by UK metal detectorists in support of this individual.
