Caveat emptor: Doubts on Sarcophagus lid seized in Queens

Francesca Tronchin  tweets:
This sarcophagus lid seized in Queens, am I the only one who thinks it looks a little not ancient?

She is Assistant Professor of Ancient Mediterranean Art and Archaeology, Rhodes College,"Greek and  Roman sculpture fan", investigator of forgeries, archaeological ethics advocate and knows what she's talking about. I admit that (not being a particularly ardent "Classical sculpture fan") I'd not really looked all that carefully, but now she's raised the possibility, I see what she means... So what is the provenance, where was it dug up, do we have any papers showing it is of real ancient origin and not "surfaced" in some grubby backroom sculptor's workshop soon before it came on the market? Let's see some more photos of this thing.
