But I guess the fact that what we see happening in these films is perfectly typical practice for most of Britain's 16000 detectorists hoiking and pocketing stuff (including from cemetery sites and burials) never really bothered any of its members enough to make them think about articulating' anything else. Jump on a bandwagon anyone can, actually look at what is going on around them and react seems not to be what British archaeologists are capable of.
