Bonham's in Egypt Dispute Again

Egypt is reportedly trying to stop the sale of eight stolen wooden Islamic reliefs at Bonham's in London, these reliefs were illegally removed last April from the Dome of Abbasids Caliphs in the Al-Sayeda Nafisa area in Old Cairo. The response of Bomham's is not reported. Nothing is yet known of the seller, or in what manner Bonham's accepted these items for sale. What verification of the collecting history supplied by the seller was carried out? This is the second case involving Bonham's and artefacts stolen in Egypt in the past few weeks.
