Leave the Excavating to Archaeologists


A hoard of Anglo Saxon coins worth over £1 million
has been discovered by metal detectorists on a Christmas dig.

Hold on, can we PLEASE leave the excavating to ARCHAEOLOGISTS and not weekend warriors?
He seems not to regard what we see in the photos as archaeology. Quite rightly too, it was hoiking.
