According to a metal detectorist's anti-archaeological blog, when a much-liked metal detectorist passes away he is a "legend", when in the same month a much-liked London archaeologist passes away it is announced in a spiteful hurtful two-page essay on the same blog attacking the late man's memory, branding him a liar, thief and cheat. Disgraceful.
