Over on a metal detecting forum near you, it seems they've not read the Code of Practice for RESPONSIBLE Metal Detecting in England and Wales with any understanding. Out in the outback of Cambridgeshire (isn't that where Dr Bland lives?) one jamesi (whose motto seems to be: "if in doute, dig it out") writes candidly on
